Employment.

Due to the unstable economy my former employer has seen fit to release a good portion of their employees from their duties. Layoffs are never a cause to rejoice but can be a blessing in disguise. I find myself in a position to start a new chapter in my life and professional growth. I hope to update this work in progress blog a lot more often now and as always work towards bettering my self as an artist.

I am currently looking for new employment and hope to continue my professional development as an artist and team player with a new organization. If you feel that I might fit a need you have for a hardworking team player with skills in both traditional 2D and 3D design and animation please feel free to contact me.

Thanks for taking time to check out my work.

Below is an short animation done for my roomate.

Here is some of the work that went into these shot shots. This was all done to help tell story to the end of a starwars RPG campaign that my roommate runs. (nerd alert!)

Original concept storyboard i drew up so i would have some idea of order to this.

here are some breakdown shots. I had only a couple of hours to throw together some 3d ships. light, texture, and animate them. then I threw them in after affects put some layers together adjusted the camera and threw some cheesy space type explosions on top. added some static as it was all supposed to be seen from an on board camera from another spaceship.

Here is the Dead Star Assembly music video I worked on as concept design / modeler / texture artist. Internship in college with four other students. Music sucks but I learn so much from the experance and had a lot of fun.
This is a modeling and texture test I did for EA Chicago. I was offered a position but due to the studio closing it was not a permanent position and I could not relocate for only 5 months. Here are some textures that I made for the alleyway. Most are stock images dirtied up to fit the scene but the floor texture was assembled from the parts of lesser textures! ( I had the time and the technology to make it stronger, faster, better!)

This is some texture work I did for the dead star assembly music video.
These images are composite textures taken from the live set where filming took place
and then edited to fit the 3d stage in both color and appearance.

The 3D set with texture applied can be found here...
